Well the big day has come and gone. Anyone get anything really cool????

I got a bunch of outdoor gear, mainly towards hiking and camping.
A MSR pot, skillet, titanium spork, nalgene 96 OZ soft canteen, pack shovel, redhead knife, tent stakes, tent mallet, gear loft for my tent, Magellen 110 handheld GPS, stove fuel, walking stick, some new burners for my mosquito repeller. A couple of the items were gifts, the rest I got at Bass Pro today with some gift cards I got for christmas.

2 double parachute hammocks, Santa also helped me make a kick-ass lightweight swivel grill to take kayak camping & taught me how to make a marlin spike hitch for 100' roll of emsteel line to make "whoopee slings" for hammock suspensions plus many other things. (4) 25L dry bags & a bunch of great food recipes for camp cooking..

I am going to try something this year. I am going to finds things I like...want....take pics of them....get SKU codes...anything that will help people get me something I would really like. I get the weirdest stuff every year. It sits on a shelf and seldom gets used.
I know it is nicer to give than receive and I should be content with whatever....but I get some stuff that they dont even show at 4 am on some show on cable.

ok....done....no more rant.

WOW! Not sure how many of you realise but to an Aussie that is just weird to own personally.
Guns are rare here, very strict gun laws.
