When modding out a kayak for fishing, what is the single most important thing you want on your boat?

What is going to help you catch fish?

I'd go with a fish finder. If you cant see whats going on down there, its going to be tough.

Fish finders are cheating. I'd say make sure you have deck bungees, and some way to secure a milk crate or something for gear. Also a paddle holder and rod holder(s) are incredibly helpful, pretty cheap, and easy to install.

The best thing...a fishing pole....fishing has been around long before electronics, prized fish were caught. Pole, bait, and hook..you can fish all day even without all that fancy stuff....
